Sladjana Domladovac from Zagreb on 3-, 2010:
    Hi, everybody!
I`m looking for the relatives of my great grand-father Janko Benac (croatian) who came to US in 1900 and worked as a miner in Rathbun, Iowa. In 1902 and in 1910 his nepheu Josip and his niece Mara came to US too. Josip Benac worked in a coal mine in Fayette City, Pennsylvania.
Unfortunately, my great grand-father Janko Benac died in a mine accident but I don`t know where and when it was... Mark Benac was the latest name (that I know) in Chicago during the World War II... After that, the connection was broken...
My grand-mother was Benac too, but today she`s the latest member of the ''BENAC family tree'' in Jastrebarsko-Draganic (near Zagreb), Croatia.

Could anyone help me to find my relatives????

    Sladjana from Zagreb, Croatia

Ellen Takayama-Rand Rosenberg from San Francisco on Jan 0-, 2009:
Hi Bill and Barbara! I hope you're doing well - looks like your family is super busy as always! I am having a ''girlfriends'' weekend in napa in a couple of weeks and I believe one of your daughters works at Frank Family Vineyards? We might want to visit - can you provide me with her contact information? Thanks and hope you're doing well! Rand and I recently bought a penthouse condominium on Nob Hill in San Francisco - it is so much fun living in the heart of the City! Also I left Macy's at the end of August after 37 years due to the closure of the SF headquarters. I'm having a great time not working 9-5 for now! Rand is still enjoying PG&E.

    Take care, Ellen
