Hello Benacs--
This is Dianne (Fields) Humphries. I don't know what made me think of your website but it came to mind today and I took a look at everything you all have been doing. I can see that your life is as hectic and enjoyable (not necessarily in that order) as it was when I worked for Bill. Quite a few additions to your lovely family!
I left EDS in 2000 to become a flight attendant (a lifelong dream). American Airlines accepted me the day I interviewed so I figured it was meant to be! (Especially with the amount of people that apply!) That was in September 2000. I met my husband in April 2001 on a flight to New Orleans out of Dallas (he was based out of Washington, D.C.) and I moved up here to Hampton, Virginia in October 2001. And, yes, I was caught in the tragedy of September 11 out on the west coast awaiting instructions as to what was to come next...... With the airline being in turmoil, I left and moved up here to the East Coast to be near my boyfriend (then husband-September 6, 2002), Gary. I am now a Realtor here on the Peninsula and Gary is still a reserve Navy pilot (former fighter pilot flying off of carriers) and a pilot with American Airlines out of NYC. We also have our own contracting business which is doing quite well. His two daughters, Leigh Anne (15) and Eryn (11), live with us so I have been a step-mom to two wonderful young ladies for the past 3 years (it does have its moments/challenges but more enjoyable ones than non-enjoyable ones). My daughter, Leigh Ann is now 25 and a teacher in the Plano school district where she graduated from high school in 1998. She attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock and graduated in May 2003. We live up here on the water and have a beautiful home with access to the Chesapeake Bay/Atlantic Ocean in 10 minutes. Gary is a wonderful man and I could not ask for anything more.
Bill,you and your family taught me quite a bit about what it is to share, care and love in your family and that is something I will never forget. I had come out of a VERY strained marriage when I started working for Bill and did not realize what I was missing until I saw your family interaction and dynamics.
Please say hello to anyone who might remember me. I saw Frank's picture on your website. Tell him I said hello, too (if he remembers me).
