| Angela Ashurst-McGee from Orem, Utah on 8-, 2005: | | Dear Editor, Roscoe and Logan cherish hope of one day being Friend of the Week. Logan feels that it will help him accomplish his life goal of ''being famous.'' Love to all Benacs!!

| Ram from NYC on 8-, 2005: | | I saw all of Josie's pictures...I like all the pink! |
| Dana Dempsey from Modesto, CA on 8-, 2005: | | B & B...
Just off the phone with your wonderful boy, John. My husband, Larry, is out in CO, helping Andrew home after his graduation in May. They depart Boulder tomorrow and will visit with John in Provo. A stop-point on their return trip to CA.
I am so happy our boys have stayed in touch over these many years. They seem to still have a connection. I know that I still have one with John.
Love to your family.

| Mamie Jamison from Austin, Texas on 8-, 2005: | | I send my regards to the Editor for a job quite well done in the presentation of such a remarkable family website. As soon as members of my own family caught wind of the existence of benac.com- they, too, became regular visitors; intrigued by the many adventures and accomplishments that seem regular to the talented family Benac. You have raised a fine family, from what I can tell! I have enjoyed getting to know you through John, and look forward to meeting you in person soon- back home in the Lone Star State. |
| adam on 8-, 2005: | | babs, your little caroline lives.
i just came across something pretty cool. there is a website my friend's family runs, called http://www.homfamily.com/bb/index.php (there name is hom). it's not nearly as cool as benac.com, but you might like to check it out. i think it would be fun if we could have a place that we all could post if we were so inclined, and just generally chat.
anyway, take care. the site is, as always, spellbinding |
| Marg Rechif from La Jolla, California on 7-, 2005: | | Just had to check out this ''famous'' website. Even with contenders such as Yeats and Thomas Jefferson, Benac.com received the greatest emotional charge at our Book Club last week!
Always said that Mormons needed about 5 minutes after initial introductions to find someone they know in common or some deep genealogical tie. Our little circle of book lovers stopped dead in its tracks when Gina Thompson and Ruth Mitchell, the newest member of our ward, came upon theirs-- benac.com!
P.S. Lived in Dallas myself in the 60's when there were two wards--one in Turtle Creek and another in Oak Cliff. Things have changed, it seems. |
| Mary from NY on 7-, 2005: | | Does Josie have a bindi on? |
| Sam Ruffin from Murray, UT on 7-, 2005: | | I hope you don't mind me using your guest book to plug something. But it is a plug to help someone else. You probably have a number of readers in Utah and this opportunity is in Utah. As most people know, Garrett Bardsley disappeared Friday, August 20, 2004, just south of Cuberant Lake off U-150 in Summit County in the high Uintah Mountains while with his scout troop. August 4-6 2005 they are having a three day recovery search for him. The web site for this is http://www.findgarrett.org/ Hopefully this search will succeed and bring some peace to his family. So if you are interested check out the site. Love the Benac website and I love the Benacs. Thanks! |
| Amy Whereatt Oelkers from St. Paul, Minnesota on 7-, 2005: | | My love is all for Annie, too, although from what I can tell, she gets her sparkle from her family, so thanks family! Annie and I lived next door to each other our freshman year in the dorms at BYU. Annie's was the window I would crawl out of onto the ledge so that I could get into my (accidentally) locked room, and hers was the company I kept as we prepared our handmade valentines for at least a month before the 14th (we might have been a little over-excited). I still have the little pen-and-ink drawing that she gave me up in our office at home, and it makes me smile. I'm happy to see she's safe and sound in NYC. I'm hoping my well-wishes reach her, in whatever form, and that all the rest of this big happy family is, well, happy too. thanks! ~Amy |
| Molly from Chapel Hill, NC on 7-, 2005: | | HOORAY for Billy! What a lovely couple they make! Congrats to them and thanks to the editor for spreading the good word! :)
Love,
Molly |
