I took a peek at your wonderful blog, it is wonderful. You've been busy would be a terrific understatement. I am glad to see that you and your family are well and thriving. However, you make me feel so lazy! I go past your parents house at least weekly, my mom still lives on El Chorro. Take care and be well. jill

It's been 4 years we left Dallas and moved to Tempe, AZ.
It is nice to know you all are doing great and even get to see some of the word members on your blog.

Hello to the Benacs! Especially ''Hello'' to Barbara Benac, who I suspect was once Barbara Taylor who graduated from Rio Americano High School in 1969. I got this web site reference from Karen Stansfield Paquette who sent me an E-Mail. So I am trying to follow up and ''find'' Barbara Taylor Benac to update her on plans for the 40th reunion of Rio Americano High School's class of 1969. I hope that I have come to the right place.

I am awestruck by your web pages too. A picture a day! Amazing! And what a wonderful family. You must all be so proud.

In any case, if Barbara Taylor Benac would please send me her E-Mail address to robert@wichert.org, I would be happy to add her to the ''found classmates'' list and keep you all up to date on plans for the reunion.

    My best to all,

    Bob Wichert

It is exhilarating getting into this wonderful family webpage! Truly enjoyed seeing all the family, grandkids and all the love and happy faces! Glad to see you all even if it is only online! A big hug to each and every one of you Benacs. Love, Carolyn

    Howdy All,
    Happy New Year!!
WE got the Christmas card from Nancy and I remembered about your website... so here I am!
We have a new grandson from our oldest daughter Patty. He showed up July 17th! He's at that real giggly stage so we have a ball just saying ''boo''.!
They’re over in Camp Pendleton but we see them everyday through our videophones. Rather have them here, but it feels like we're in the living room with them when we can see them so well. Big Joshua and baby Joshua are great additions to the family! Sarah leaves tomorrow to head back to APU in Azusa for her second semester (sophomore) (great for her, bummer for us) she is such a treat to have around.
Melissa really wants to come out and talk with Aunt Helen bad. So maybe one of these days will hop in the motor home and make an adventure out of it! Baby Josh had a cold at Christmas time and gave it to Mom (Fern) and Moose. She is OK now but I talked with her last night and she feels fine except her voice hasn’t quite come back yet. I told her she sounded like she was going through puberty… I thought she was going to choke out from laughter but she got it together.
I’ve had 3 surgeries this year. That’s something new for me. I think the Dr’s motto was: leave no hole unexplored and let’s make some new one’s! After a few treatments, I’m back in the saddle. Good to go. Feelin fine! Yep, straight to heaven for this guy, but I’d like to stick it out here for awhile longer to spend some more time with my sweetie (June we’ll be married 25 years! Yee haw!) but what ever God’s plan is, I’ll just go with that! At church they call me the Song of Solomon man! That’s what we teach about mostly. I think if everybody knew those 8 chapters, this world could be an amazing place! But I won’t take up any more of your time but I thought I would just leave you all a note.
Love you guys, we keep you in our prayers

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALLISON!
Remember when we used to celebrate our birthdays together?
Hope you all are doing well. I think of you all often, even after all these years. I always considered you my second family and Barbara and Bill my other parents. You were a strong support and beautiful (although sometimes wacky :) influence on me.
Would love to get back in touch!

Jackie Rama from Rexburg, Idaho on 9-, 2008:
I served a mission in Dallas from 1998-2000 and the Benacs were the single-most influential family I came across. Fearless in their testimonies, jaw-dropping in their accomplishments, and humbling in their presentation, this family is a beacon to what I dream of my own family becoming. Thank you for sharing your wonderful family, traditions, and excitement with all of us through your website. You are a breath of fresh air in a world that would have us believe families like yours aren't possible.
Sarah Drown from Park City, Utah on 7-, 2008:
