"I was wrong. I'm sorry. I love you."
The Holy Trinity of personal redemptive sentiment.

January 13: Yesterday we prepared a long article entitled Sic Transit Gloria Mundi , about the brevity of life and its comforts and honors. After a long period of preparation, plenty of notes on the usefulness of artistic memento mori (reminders that each of us could die any moment), the entire post was accidentally deleted. These reminders are designed to wipe the smug grins from the faces of mortals who ignore the Inner Voice and pretend freedom to live according to whatever rules they choose without eventual accountability and judgment. With the current disaster in Haiti, it seems fitting to resurrect the subject. It could be an earthquake, a car accident, a rogue infection; there are many ways for us to pass from this sphere into the next. But we may all rest assured that our moment will come, our hearts will be weighed in the balance, and we will receive our reward according to the circumstances and choices we made in this life."Therefore, send not to know for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee" (John Donne).
