February 25: It warms the very depths of the Editor's Humanities-oriented heart to see yet another generation of culture-loving Benac family. Add granddaughter Emma of North-of-Dallas to the list, as she joined the parents and Nubsy for last night's performance of Don Pasquale, a delightful bel canto romp that left us all smiling broadly and dining afterward on desert tapas at Cafe Madrid, where we ran into the star of the show himself: Donato diStefano himself snacking on tapas! ( and yes, the Editor made good on her threat to wear another sari to the event). Why not?
