"I was wrong. I'm sorry. I love you."
The Holy Trinity of personal redemptive sentiment.

February 26: The Meadows Museum at SMU is a swank operation. Swank! Last night the Editor attended what she thought was to be a lecture on two Spanish kings and their artists: Philip IV and Velazquez; and Charles IV and Goya. It turned out to be a wine and cheese spa/drawing party during which we enjoyed a great lecture/demonstration of portraiture techniques, then were handed sheets of paper and soft pencils, a copy of one of the portraits in our permanent collection, and encouraged to try our hand. All the while, a liveried attended wandered among us, offering refills on our drinks. A snowy white tablecloth covered a table filled with wine and cheeses, fruits and crackers. Astonishing! Here's our rendition of Velazquez' studio portrait of Philip IV's wife, Mariana of Austria. We'll be going back to this class!

The fair Mariana should be allowed entry into the hall of Wild Hair! A perfect candidate she is!

Oh, you are SO right! Why didn't I think of that? Consider it DONE.
