July 21: That Sarah! As the originator of Flaky Friends, she has been turning out odd little stitcheries for some time now. We are always tempted to proclaim, "This one takes the cake!," but then she comes out with another, more outlandish creation. Witness the custom laptop case she created for a customer; this in the form, of course, of an orangutan. Yes, that's right. Those long arms conceal clips that unite to form a carry strap. Sarah, we salute you and your kooky skillz!

    aw, shucks! Thanks, Mom! This was kind of a trick to pull off since I've never actually made anything that followed any sort of rhyme or reason and to make something that actually had to have pieces fitting in specific ways was kind of a disaster at first. The bag was my second attempt but I'm really happy with how it turned out. My customer wants two more at $100 each!!
